What happens if I scratch or damage the bike?

We don't worry about the small stuff. Scratches are part of riding in Chiang Mai and will inevitably happen. All of our bikes come with free scratch insurance.

What is the best scooter to rent in Chiang Mai?

We have been riding in Chiang Mai for decades on many different types of scooters and motorcycles and we think that the very best scooter you can rent is the Honda Click 160cc. It has more power than the typical 110cc-125cc scooters but is still small and nimble. It's great for cutting through the annoying traffic on Nimman and skipping all the jams in the old city but is still wonderful to ride up to Mon Jam in Samoeng!

We try to keep our helmets fresh and clean!

We know how frustrating it is to rent a scooter and be handed a stinky helmet! So we try our best to keep our helmets fresh and clean.

Once a month, every single helmet in our fleet gets pulled from the shelves and sent through our 4-Stage Sanitization Station.

UV-C Light: We start by hitting each helmet with ultraviolet light. This destroys the DNA of bacteria and is particularly effective at eliminating the musty, mildew-like odors that plague helmets in a tropical climate.

Ozone (O3) Gas: Next, we seal the helmets in a chamber with ozone. Ozone penetrates deep into the foam padding, the part you can't wipe with a rag, to kill any remaining bacteria and neutralize stubborn odors.

Disinfectant Mist: We apply a fine, non-toxic sanitizing mist to every contour and vent. It's safe for your skin but tough on germs.

Warm Air Dry: Finally, we run warm, dry air through the helmets. This step is crucial, by removing all residual moisture, we ensure that bacteria and mold have no chance to regrow before you pick up your ride.
